Mark Frost, the co-creator of David Lynch's celebrated cult TV hit Twin Peaks, has sold his first children's book to Random House. According to the publisher, the ensuding story "follows is a series of events and revelations that places Will smack in the middle of a millenniaold struggle between titanic forces."

Frost has written a number of screenplays, including both recent Fantastic Four films--Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer--and also wrote and produced the film The Greatest Game Ever Played. He has written eight books, including The List of Seven and The Second Objective.
