In the wake of Larry Kirshbaum's announcement that he will be taking the top publishing job at Amazon Publishing, two of the agents at his literary agency, LJK Literary Management, are stepping up to take the reigns there. Susanna Einstein and Meg Thompson, who have been at LJK since it was founded in 2005, will now oversee the agency.

While Einstein and Thompson are currently considering a name change, other aspects of the company, they said, will remain the same. The agency is remaining in its current office space on West 25th Street and the pair said they "expect all of our clients to stay." Sandy Hodgman, who handles foreign rights for LJK, is also staying on board.
