Ballantine Bantam Dell has re-upped Janet Evanovich, signing her to a new world rights, four-book deal. Evanovich left her longtime house, St. Martin's Press, for Random House in 2010. The bestseller then signed a new contract with RH in June 2012. This deal, which is for a new series Evanovich will be writing with TV/film scribe Phoef Sutton, was done by Evanovich's agent, Peter Evanovich, and president and publisher of RH, Gina Centrello, with executive v-p of BBD, Libby McGuire.

Sutton has written for such TV shows as Cheers and worked as either a collaborator or creator on shows like Boston Legal, Terriers and Defiance; his film credits include Mrs. Winterbourne and The Fan. According to RH, there are over 75 million copies of Evanovich's books in print.
