Elin Hilderbrand has signed a new, six-book deal with her longstanding publisher. Reagan Arthur at Little, Brown and Company acquired the titles from Inkwell Management's Michael Carlisle and David Forrer and, among the offerings, will be the author's first fall-published title, Winter Street, set for October 2014. Also in the deal are four untitled novels set for release in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, as well as an e-book original short called "The Tailgate," based on a subplot in the author's 2014 novel, The Matchmaker.

Hilderbrand has written 12 novels, all set on Nantucket, and, LB said, since 2007's Barefoot, her sales have tripled; there are now 4 million copies of her books in print.
