As Rizzoli approaches the closure of its current home on 57th Street on April 11, the bookstore announced it has been scouting new locations and has seen "several very promising spaces." It will be hosting a storewide sale through its closure, in both the store and on its website, which will stay up to date with developments on a new location. The site will also continue to sell books as the effort to find a new location plays out.

"The outpouring of support from the press, our neighbors, and our publishing and bookselling colleagues has been heartwarming, and we are looking forward to remaining a vital part of the city’s cultural fabric for many years to come," read a statement issued by a spokesperson for the store.
