Sales rose by 16% in both the adult nonfiction and juvenile nonfiction segments. On the adult nonfiction bestsellers list, Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up reclaimed the top spot, selling almost 20,000 copies. Living Forward by former Thomas Nelson CEO Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy sold more than 18,000 copies in its first week, putting it in third place on the category bestsellers list. There were no big debuts in juvenile nonfiction, but two titles enjoyed big gains over the prior week. Sales doubled for both Joyous Blooms to Color by Eleri Fowler and Bonnie Worth’s Can You Say Di-no-saur, putting the titles in second and third place, respectively, on the juvenile nonfiction list. First 100 Words by Roger Priddy remained #1 in the category, selling more than 12,000 copies. The 7% increase in unit sales in juvenile fiction in the week was led by Dr. Seuss titles.
