Amazon has introduced another service available only for Prime members. Prime Book Box is a subscription service that will deliver children’s books every one, two, or three months to customers.
Books will come from a range of publishers and are selected for the program by Amazon Books editors who will factor in customer ratings and reviews. The service is aimed at children up to 12 years old. Each box contains two hardcover children’s books tailored to each reader’s age (for ages 3-12), or four board books for children two and younger. Price of the subscription is $22.99 per month.
Parents can swap out books selected by the editors from an alternate list drawn up by the company. Parents also have the flexibility to pick the frequency they want and can choose to receive a box every one, two, or three months. They can also skip a box and change the frequency. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time.
