Achievement Unlocked

On October 14, Emily Nagoski, a sex educator with a PhD in health behavior, and her identical twin sister, Amelia Nagoski, associate professor and coordinator of music at Western New England University, joined Brené Brown on her Unlocking Us podcast to discuss Burnout, their 2019 self-help title. Brown, who promoted the episode on her 3.1 million–follower Instagram account, called the book “a total game-changer” for her and her family. After the appearance, the trade paperback reissue, which pubbed in January, saw a pop in sales; it lands at #16 on our trade paper list.

Sticky Notes

Since the March publication of The Antiquarian Sticker Book, weekly print unit sales have been consistent, in the high three- and low four-figure range. Aimed at retro crafters and scrapbookers, the craft title periodically gets a boost from more newfangled sources. Its Instagram ad campaign uses influencer-generated content, and on October 16, TikTok user @kiacreates shared a video that amassed more than 912k views in 48 hours. By week’s end, sales were more than triple what they’d been the week before, and the title lands at #19 in hardcover fiction.
