Alaxis Press To Publish ‘Obscure Cities’ Graphic Novels in English
Alaxis Press, a new venture launched by publishing veteran Stephen Smith, plans to begin publishing new English language editions of The Obscure Cities, a series of acclaimed graphic novels by Francois Schuiten and Benoit Peeters that depict a world of imaginary and architecturally fantastic city-states.

Fans Swarm Comic Arts Brooklyn 2013
The first annual Comic Arts Brooklyn, a one-day festival of indie, small press and self-published comics, started slowly but by late Saturday morning fans began arriving in force. A successor to the popular but now defunct Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival, CAB was jammed with fans throughout the day.
