A one-on-one conversation between editor and critic Danny Fingeroth and writer Peter David (The Incredible Hulk, X-Factor, Star Trek) at the Soho Gallery for Digital Art at 7pm. 6/5 Neil Gaiman and Chip Kidd in Cambridge, MA

As part of the Boston Book Festival, author Neil Gaiman and designer Chip Kidd discuss Make Good Art, a new book based on Gaiman’s 2012 commencement speech at the University of Arts in Pennsylvania at the Oberon Theater. Gaiman and Kidd, who designed the cover and interior of Make Good Art, will explore the nature of producing creative works as well as Gaiman’s own endeavors throughout his career. 6/7-6/10 HeroesCon 2013 in Charlotte, NC

The 31st annual Heroes Convention, organized by Shelton Drum, owner of Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find comics shop, taking place at the Charlotte Convention Center. A “comics-first” show that lets fans of all ages meet some of the industry’s biggest creators, and features a plethora of panels, Q&As, workshops, Artist Alley including Indie Island, and much, much more. Guests include Jonathan Hickman, Bernie Wrightson, Don Rosa, Eric Powell, Dan Parent and Paolo Rivera (view the complete guest list here).
