Award-winning writer and Fables creator Bill Willingham will be signing copies of his new original graphic novel, Fairest: In All the Land (Vertigo) on Wednesday, November 27th from 4-6 p.m. at Challenger Comics in Chicago, IL. The new book collects thirty comic book shorts and two prose stories follow the "worst week" for Cinderella, Fables' resident spy, as well as series regulars like Bigby Wolf, Snow White and Rose Red. 11/30: Short Run 2013 in Seattle, WA

Now in its third year, Short Run is a local comics and art festival aimed at incubating the city's small press community, from comics to zines and animation, taking place on Saturday, November 30th from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at Washington Hall in Seattle, WA. Meant to give small and self-publishers the resources and opportunity to share their work, the festival's programming includes workshops and panels such as "DIY Publishing in the Digital Age" and "Women in Comics," readings, portfolio reviews, art showcases, and the Short Run Comics Prom after party.
