On behalf of Publishers Weekly and our sponsors, we want to extend a sincere thank you to all the librarians who visited with us at the BookExpo 2017 Librarians' Lounge, hosted with Baker & Taylor.

This year may have been a smaller BookExpo, but not for the Librarians' Lounge. Attendance in the lounge was up a hefty 40% over the previous year, with more than 1,000 unique visitors stopping by over the course of the show, our biggest turnout yet.

Once again, we'd like to thank our sponsors for making their authors available for some fascinating talks, for giving away books and other goodies, and for providing lunch, snacks and drinks throughout. So, thank you Baker & Taylor; Center Street; DK Publishing; Harlequin; Little, Brown Young Readers; Penguin Random House; Recorded Books; Rowman & Littlefield; and Sourcebooks.

Over the last several years Publishers Weekly has made it our responsibility to cover the library community and the issues that librarians face both in the industry, and in their communities. Like our sponsors, we recognize that libraries are the foundation of our reading culture, and essential to our democracy. We value the work you do as librarians. And we will continue to support and advocate for libraries.

We look forward to seeing you next year in the Librarians' Lounge. And if you're in Chicago for the ALA Annual Conference, please stop by the PW booth (booth 2420) on the show floor.

Sincerely,
The Publishers Weekly Staff
