Craig Morgan Teicher is returning to PW as senior web editor. He will come on full time as of June 7 and work part time until then. Teicher will manage the content on publishersweekly.com, and also write news stories and features for both the print and electronic editions of Publishers Weekly. He will also continue in his current capacity as poetry reviews editor.
Before returning to PW, Teicher was the founding editor of MediaBistro's eBookNewser blog, which covered the digital book publishing sector. He also taught creative writing and worked as a freelance writer and book reviewer. Teicher is the v-p/technology of the board of the National Book Critics Circle.
Ryk Hsieh is also joining PW as web producer, responsible for trafficking ads online and in print, among other duties. He worked previously with WQXR.com. He will be on staff full time as of mid-May.
