Media Source Inc, the parent company of Junior Library Guild, School Library Journal, Library Journal, and The Horn Book, has made a number of additions and changes to its senior management team. Ron Shank, who joined Media Source earlier this year with the company’s acquisition of SLJ and LJ, was named publisher of The Horn Book, Inc. This adds to Shank’s existing responsibilities as publisher of School Library Journal and Library Journal. To oversee its content licensing business, Media Source has hired Ian Singer as v-p of content and business development. In this newly-created position, Singer, who was most recently v-p of data services for Bowker, will manage the company’s content licensing businesses. And Andrew Thorne was named Media Source's v-p of marketing.
