Merriam-Webster has appointed Caryl Schivley to the position of v-p and chief financial officer/chief administrative officer. She will be responsible for all financial aspects of the company and will provide leadership and coordination in the business planning and budgeting activities of the company. Schivley was previously v-p, finance for Atlas Copco Construction Tools LLC.
F+W Media has appointed two employees to its executive committee: Kate Rados and Kathleen Blackwelder. Rados, who has also been promoted to group marketing director, is responsible for F+W’s publicity and marketing campaigns. Blackwelder is e-commerce director for F+W’s e-commerce business, which has more than 20 individual e-stores serving the company’s vertical markets through direct to consumer sales.
