Nina Hoffman is stepping down from her position as president of National Geographic Books at the end of the year. National Geographic Publishing head Declan Moore said the company is beginning the search for a new senior book publishing executive. In the interim, editor-in-chief Barbara Brownell and chief operating officer for books Hector Sierra will report to Moore. Children's book publishing will continue to report to children's publishing evp Melina Bellows.
