Adam Korn is returning to HarperCollins as executive editor at William Morrow on January 8. Korn was most recently a literary agent with DeFiore and Company. He became an agent after several years working in the editorial departments of Random House, Crown, and HarperCollins, where he acquired the bestsellers Got Fight? by Forrest Griffin; The Perfection Point by John Brenkus; and Why I Fight by B.J. Penn; among other books.
Benjamin Lee has been promoted to director, distributor sales and retail marketing at Simon & Schuster. He is responsible for adult and audio sales to Levy Home Entertainment, Target, Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and the CBA National Accounts: Family Christian, Mardel, and Lifeway. He will also work with e-book distributor accounts including Google, Kobo, Ingram Digital, B&T Digital, Overdrive, and Christian Book Distributors.
Also at S&S, John Hardy, senior director of DSRM, who currently manages sales in the airport, supermarket and drugstore channel, will take on the additional responsibility of managing sales to Walmart and Anderson Merchandisers.
