At Maria B. Campbell Associates, Mary Pender-Coplan has been promoted to v-p. Pender-Coplan, who handles the dramatic rights and children’s book scouting, has been at MBCA for five years.
Phil Revzin, currently a senior editor at St. Martin’s Press, is leaving that position for an editor at large job at Bloomberg News, where he will be covering the international financial markets. Revzin acquired for SMP, among other titles, Our Iceberg is Melting and Mary Tyler Moore’s memoir, Growing Up Again.
Bryan Norman has been promoted from associate acquisitions editor to associate publisher of the nonfiction trade group at Thomas Nelson. Norman has been at Thomas Nelson for just over six years, and started as an associate editor at Cool Springs Press.
