At Scholastic, Anamika Bhatnagar has been promoted to executive editor and director of paperback reprints. She was previously senior editor and director of paperback reprints. Doug Analla has been promoted to director, marketing and creative services for Klutz. He was previously associate director. Samantha Schutz has re-joined Scholastic as executive editor, licensed publishing. Most recently, Schutz was editor at Grosset & Dunlap/PSS!, a division of the Penguin Young Readers Group, and prior to that was associate editor for Scholastic Licensed Publishing.
At the Carolyn Jenks Literary Agency, AnnMarie Monzione has been promoted to associate agent. Monzione, who has been an agency fellow for the past six months, was the founder of the North Shore Writers' Collaborative, and worked as a litigation attorney for more than 10 years. She is pursuing women's fiction, literary novels, and commercial fiction with international appeal.
