Ruta Rimas is joining the Atheneum and Margaret K. McElderry imprints as associate editor, reporting to Justin Chanda. Rimas is a graduate of NYU and has spent the last three years at HarperCollins working with Donna Bray of the Balzer & Bray imprint.
Copyright Clearance Center has appointed Haralambos Marmanis as chief technology officer and v-p, engineering. In his new role, Marmanis is responsible for driving the technology vision and the implementation of all software systems, as well as determining and developing long-term corporate-wide IT needs. His previous experience includes being CTO at Emptoris.
