Bloomsbury Publishing has announced the following hires/promotions:
Cristina Gilbert has joined as executive director of U.S. marketing, reporting to Evan Schnittman. Gilbert will manage all U.S. marketing teams including children’s trade and digital, adult trade and digital, academic marketing, marketing operations, children’s publicity, and school & library. Laura Keefe, associate director of digital and trade marketing, will report to Gilbert. Keefe will manage all digital and trade marketing campaigns for adult titles, while Kim Burns, director of trade and digital marketing, children’s will report to Gilbert and manage all digital and trade marketing campaigns for children’s titles.
Ryan Tozzi has joined the company as academic operations manager, and will report to Ilise Levine.
Lea Beresford has joined as assistant to the publishing director and associate editor.
Kaitlin Mischner is joining the company’s children’s department as subrights assistant after interning in the adult marketing department as well as the production department.
