Anthony Ziccardi has left Simon & Schuster, where he was deputy publisher of Gallery Books, Threshold Editions and Pocket Books. Ziccardi, who's been at S&S for seven years, and was named deputy publisher of the group in 2009, left the company on Monday.

Ziccardi worked on a number of notable titles in his time at S&S, among them Karl Rove's Courage and Consequence (published by Threshold) and Dick Cheney's In My Time (also from Threshold). S&S said that, moving forward, Ziccardi's direct reports will now be overseen by Louise Burke, executive v-p and publisher of Gallery. The publisher also plans to replace Ziccardi with two new hires: an associate publisher and a marketing director.
