Nan Graham has been named senior v-p and publisher of Scribner, reporting to Susan Moldow, who was formerly publisher but became president of the Scribner Publishing Group when it was formed and announced in October 2012. Graham was the 2011 recipient of The Center for Fiction's Maxwell E. Perkins Award. She has edited numerous books, including The Emperor of All Maladies and M.L. Stedman's The Light Between Oceans.
"As if Nan hasn't amply proven how deserved this promotion is by her firm hand in shaping the list and staff and insuring the growth of the Scribner imprint over the last eighteen years, her performance of late surely demonstrates that she continues to exercise her singular editorial instincts, abilities, and leadership qualities at the highest levels," said Moldow.
