Jill Lazer has been promoted to v-p of production for general interest books at HMH and will assume responsibility for the production of the new culinary list and CliffsNotes in addition to her current role of managing the HMH general interest titles. Lazer has been with HMH for 20 years and was previously senior director of production.
Paul Thigpen has been named editor at TAN Books, an imprint of Saint Benedict Press.
