Macmillan Children's Publishing Group has three promotions. Caitlin Sweeny has been promoted to digital marketing manager; she was previously associate digital marketing manager. In her new role, she will manage all digital marketing initiatives for major titles and campaigns. Ksenia Winnicki has been promoted to associate digital marketing manager; she was formerly digital marketing coordinator. Susan Dobinick has been promoted to associate editor at Margaret Ferguson Books for Young Readers; she was previously editorial assistant.

Karen Greenberg has joined Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers as an editorial assistant. She was formerly an intern at Sterling Publishing.

Karen Li will join Owlkids Books as editorial director on July 15, and will lead the development of the editorial program. Previously she was senior editor at Kids Can Press.

Christina Quintero has joined Little, Brown Books for Young Readers as art director for licensing. Previously she was associate art director at Grosset & Dunlap/Price Stern Sloan, where she worked on such brands such as Strawberry Shortcake, Club Penguin, Disney Classic Pooh, and Mad Libs.

Seta Zink has been promoted to publicity manager at Running Press. She was previously senior publicist.

Rachel Poloski has joined Little, Brown Books for Young Readers as editorial assistant. Previously she was an administrative assistant at Abrams.

Bloomsbury Children's Books has four promotions. Caroline Abbey was promoted to senior editor; she was previously editor. Mary Kate Castellani was promoted to senior editor and moves over to the Bloomsbury imprint; she was previously editor at Walker Books for Young Readers. Brett Wright was promoted to associate editor, from assistant editor. Laura Whitaker was promoted to associate editor; she was previously assistant editor at Walker Books for Young Readers.

Sarah Harrison Smith has been named children's book editor at the New York Times. She succeeds Pamela Paul, who was named editor of the New York Times Book Review. Smith was formerly an editor and writer in the newspaper's Metropolitan section, and before that was managing editor of the New York Times Magazine, and head of its research department. She is also the author of The Fact Checker's Bible: A Guide to Getting It Right.

Courtney Allison has joined Penguin Young Readers Group as publicity manager. Courtney began her career at Penguin, in Viking adult, before moving to Macmillan and then the Vintage/Anchor group at Random House, where she was most recently a senior publicist.
