Patricia Stockland has been promoted to v-p, editor in chief at Lerner Publishing Group. Stockland was previously editor in chief at Lerner Publishing Group and Editorial Director of Lerner Publications, the company’s flagship imprint for series nonfiction.


Kempton Mooney has joined the Nielsen Book Americas group as director, research and analytics. In this newly created role, Mooney will work closely with new and existing book clients – across all areas – to identify key issues, define, and then drive workable solutions that create value and revenue. Mooney has held positions at Random House and Hachette Book Group.

Jessica Williams has been named editor at William Morrow.

Mackenzie Brady, formerly of the Charlotte Sheedy Literary Agency, will be joining New Leaf Literary & Media, Inc., effective June 9.

At NorthSouth Books, Heather Lennon has been named managing director of business in the United States. A longtime sales and marketing consultant to the company, Lennon will officially join NorthSouth and focus U.S. efforts on planning new programs and focusing on strategic partnerships.
