Kathleen Sexton Kaiser has been named the new executive director of SPAWN, the Small Publisher, Artist and Writer Network, a national nonprofit organization that provides opportunities, information, and resources for authors, illustrators, graphic designers and others. Kaiser is best known by her nom de plume, Kate Sexton. She was the past president of the 75-year-old Ventura County Writers Club.
