Will Schrom has been promoted to national accounts manager at Chronicle Books. He joined Chronicle’s trade sales department in 2011.
Following founder Jack Covert's retirement as president of 800-CEO-READ, the company announced that Sally Haldorson has been named general manager. Aaron Schleicher will take over as sales group leader. Meg Bacik will act as customer service group leader, and Dylan Schleicher has been named marketing group leader, directing the marketing and editorial departments.
At Putnam, Katie McKee has been promoted to senior publicity manager. Elena Hershey has been promoted to associate publicist.
Hanna Glidden has been promoted to associate managing editor for the Crown Publishing Group.
Lone Pine Publishing has named Michael O. Campbell as their new U.S. sales manager, replacing Helen Ibach, who is retiring at the end of July after leading Lone Pine's sales in the U.S. for 18 years. Campbell was most recently marketing and sales manager at the University of Nevada Press.
