Jeanne Mosure is stepping down as senior v-p and group publisher of Disney Publishing Worldwide. Disney confirmed that Mosure, who has been with Disney since 1998, is leaving the company but offered few other details. News of Mosure's departure was first reported by Publishing Trends.

"Jeanne has left a significant mark on our business and we thank her for her many contributions during her time at Disney Publishing," a Disney spokesperson said.

Sources outside of the company said that Mary Ann Naples, who was named v-p and publisher of the Disney Book Group this past February, will now report directly to Andrew Sugerman, executive v-p of content and media at Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. No other significant changes are planned, sources said.

During Mosure’s time with Disney, the company closed the Disney Publishing Worldwide office in White Plains, N.Y. and moved most book group employees to New York City and other DPW employees to Glendale, Calif. where they are with Disney Consumer Products and Disney Interactive units and close to Disney headquarters in Burbank. As part of the change, which took place in late 2012, Mosure moved to Glendale and Sugerman was named to head DPW.
