Erica Curtis has been named director of marketing strategy, in addition to her role as v-p and director of campaigns and analytics, on Penguin Random House's consumer marketing development team. Max Minckler has moved to a company-wide role as senior director of consumer insights for Penguin Random House, from director of consumer insights at the Random House Publishing Group. He will report to Sanyu Dillon, executive v-p and director of marketing strategy and consumer engagement at PRH.

In her expanded role, Curtis, who has been with Random House since 2006, will work closely with Dillon to "set the direction for our consumer-marketing strategy while continuing to oversee the Campaigns & Analytics team," Dillon wrote in a letter to staff. Minckler, Dillon added, who joined Random House in 2014, from Disney Interactive, will "be responsible for putting data-driven insights at the center of our activities to drive a culture of readercentricity across Penguin Random House."

Minckler will also oversee PRH's consumer insights team. Reporting to him will be Mina Park, director of consumer insights, and the rest of the team.
