Following an overhaul of its sales division late last month, Macmillan has instituted further changes to the division. Jenn Gonzalez, who was named executive v-p and director of sales at Macmillan last year, announced a slew of promotions and account reassignments.

"These promotions and account reassignments reflect the following structural changes," Gonzalez wrote: "First, we created a dedicated Barnes & Noble team to focus on the account and better align Macmillan with the needs of B&N. Next, we brought the mass merch and special sales teams closer together to help us more effectively collaborate and expand our presence in these channels. Lastly, we will expand our Amazon, Canada, academic, and library channels to meet the needs of our changing marketplace."
