Barnes & Noble issued a statement around noon on Wednesday announcing that all customers who had ordered the Nook before November 20 will receive the e-reader by Christmas. Last week, B&N said there was a chance a small percentage of customers who pre-ordered before November 20 may not receive the Nook by the holiday. “We’re happy to report that all customers who pre-ordered nooks and were given a pre-holiday estimated shipping date will be sent their nooks in time to receive them by Christmas,” B&N said.

Customers who ordered Nooks after November 20 will begin receiving them in the new year. Any customer who orders a device today will receive the Nook around February 1. B&N launched the Nook October 20 and demand has exceeded expectations. The devices will be available in stores sometime in early 2010.
