In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Penguin has returned with its Read Pink campaign, in which it distributes as many romance titles as possible bearing the Read Pink seal, which is a familiar logo associated with breast cancer awareness. Last year, for the first time, the publisher shipped 400,000 romances bearing the seal, which contained information about the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Penguin is also making a $25,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Eight novels will bear the Read Pink designation this year, with ribbons on books by, among others, Nora Roberts. Jilliam Hunter and Christina Dodd. More details about the Read Pink initiative are available at www.penguin.com/readpink.
