On July 23 Houghton Mifflin Harcourt introduced its new Web site, HMHCo.com, uniting all of the company’s brands, programs and products onto one e-commerce platform.

The site gives parents, educators and learners direct access to HMH’s content ranging from mobile learning apps to print and digital learning content to cookbooks, reference materials, and fiction titles.

“We believe that our customers, whether educators, parents or book lovers, will find engaging and relevant resources on hmhco.com,” said John Dragoon, executive v-p and chief marketing officer, HMH. “From CliffsNotes study guides to assessment tools, and from Curious George apps for young learners to Life of Pi and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series, we have extended access to our content and created an online hub for lifelong learners.”

HMH CEO Linda Zecher discussed plans to build the site in March, saying that the unified platform is one way HMH is seeking alternative markets for its content as a part of a larger effort to return the company to profitability in the wake of undergoing prepackaged bankruptcy and corporate restructuring in 2012.
