The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) announced a partnership with Ingram Content Group that will better enable booksellers to order books and celebrate Banned Books Week this year, which takes place September 22-28.
In the collaboration, booksellers will be able to order titles from a list of banned and challenged books assembled by ABFFE through Ingram with additional discounts.
“The idea of Banned Books Week in a Box is to make it as easy as possible for booksellers to promote the freedom to read,” ABFFE president Chris Finan said. “We are very grateful for Ingram’s support.”
ABFFE also said that Above the Treeline has posted ABFFE’s new list of over 120 banned and challenged titles on Edelweiss, making it possible to search the list by author, title and publisher.
