The Jerusalem International Book Forum, the successor to the Jerusalem International Book Fair, released its line up of speakers and panels for its inaugural event that will take place from May 12-15, 2019.

Programs will include a keynote address by Henry Holt's chairman Stephen Rubin as well as eight panels featuring leading international publishers such as as Andrew Franklin (managing director, Profile Books), Stefan von Holtzbrinck (CEO, Holtzbrinck Publishing Group), Markus Dohle (CEO, Penguin Random House), Vera Michalski-Hoffman (founder/director, Libella publishing group), and more.

The new JIBF is expected to be attended by more than 200 members of the Israeli and international publishing community. It will coincide with the presentation of the Jerusalem Prize to 2019 recipient Joyce Carol Oates (May 12), the Zev Birger Editorial Fellowship program (May 10-16) and the Jerusalem International Writers Festival at the Mishkenot Sha’ananin (May 12-16) whose attendees will also engage in some of the Forum discussions, as will the 35 newly inducted Zev Birger Editorial Fellows from 18 countries.
