HarperCollins Christian Publishing is collaborating with Accurance, a digital production services provider, on its new self-publishing imprint, Elm Hill. Pete Nikolai, Elm Hill’s publisher and director of publishing services, said the imprint is a business growth opportunity that can add fresh voices to the industry.

The imprint offers six tiers of packaged publishing services, such as sales, marketing, promotion, and distribution assistance through HCCP. Cost of the packages range from $1,399 to $8,999.

Although each tier provides different levels of resources and support, all Elm Hill authors will have access to the editorial, marketing, and production resources of Accurance, as well as distribution opportunities through HCCP’s sales channels. Further, Elm Hill will use a technology platform powered by FastPencil to help manage and streamline manuscript submissions, editing, production, and e-book conversion.

Jon Fitch, president of Accurance, also serves as general manager of Elm Hill. He does not report in directly to HCCP, but oversees Accurance's collaboration with the publisher instead.
