NavPress to Publish New Manifesto for Men

Kenny Luck has signed a multiple-book deal with NavPress’s Don Pape and David Zimmerman. The first book, for which NavPress has acquired world rights, is Dangerous Good, which is scheduled for June 2018 publication. The book is a manifesto for the next generation of men to rise up in an honorable manner, with attention paid to upholding the dignity of all, particularly women.

Tyndale Kids Jumps for Veggie Tales Co-Creator

Linda Howard of Tyndale Kids, through Dan Lynch of Brentwood Studios, acquired world rights to The Dead Sea Squirrels series by Mike Nawrocki, co-founder of VeggieTales. The six-book series features a pair of squirrels who lived in the time of Christ and are now in our time teaching biblical truths to early readers. Expected release date is Spring 2019.

McCleneghan Moves to WJK

Carol Mann of Carol Mann Agency brokered a deal with Jessica Miller Kelley of Westminster John Knox for world rights to Bromleigh McCleneghan’s tentatively titled Really Freakin’ Lucky: Blessing, Privilege, and the Work of God, with publication set for Fall 2019. McCleneghan, who has written widely on sex, abortion, love, and feminism, breaks down the concepts of blessing and providence and examines their connections to economic and racial privilege in America.

SparkHouse Acquires Picture Book by Ellis

SparkHouse Family editor Naomi Krueger acquired world rights to The Fabulous World That God Made by Joyce K. Ellis, with Cyle Young of Hartline Literary Agency as agent. The picture book is written loosely in the style of This Is the House That Jack Built, and is expected to be released in Spring 2019.
