Executive v-p and publisher of WaterBrook, Multnomah, and Convergent Tina Constable announced four new hires to the editorial teams at the religious imprints of Penguin Random House.

Keren Baltzer, most recently senior acquisitions editor at FaithWords, has been named editorial director at Convergent, which publishes books on progressive Christianity. Reporting to Constable and based out of the Convergent offices in New York, Baltzer is tasked with building the imprint's list to include authors “who will add to the evolving discourse within the Christian-publishing landscape,” said Constable.

Becky Nesbitt, whose experience includes 16 years at Tyndale and most recently at Howard Books as v-p, editor-in-chief, has been named executive editor at WaterBrook, which publishes books in the areas of practical life, inspiration, devotional, and more. She will report to Laura Barker, editor-in-chief of WaterBrook and Multnomah, and will work remotely from Nashville.

Paul Pastor, a freelance editor and consultant, is joining WaterBrook and Multnomah in Colorado Springs, Colo. as editor, and will also report to Barker. Multnomah focuses on publishing books related to discipleship, Bible study, apologetics, evangelism, and more.

Additionally, Porscha Burke has joined PRH’s Christian publishing division as senior editor, publishing manager, Christian projects. Previously publishing manager at the Random House Group, Burke’s new role will include working with the New York and Colorado publishing teams to develop Christian gift products, children’s books, and other growth initiatives. She will report to Campbell Wharton, v-p, deputy publisher at PRH.
