Comer Adds Another PRH Christian Partnership
John Mark Comer, the bestselling author of the 2025 ECPA Christian Book of the Year, Practicing the Way, published as part of a partnership with PRH Christian Publishing imprint WaterBrook, has signed a new four-title partnership with the imprint. Comer will publish trade titles on topics including spiritual formation, discipleship, and contemplative spirituality, with releases beginning in 2028. World rights were acquired by Tina Constable, EVP of business development at PRH Christian Publishing Group, and Campbell Wharton, SVP and publisher of PRH Christian. Comer was represented by Mike Salisbury, Curtis Yates, and Matt Yates at Yates & Yates.
Tebow Signs Multi-Book Deal with Nelson
Tim Tebow, the former NFL quarterback, speaker, and author (This is the Day, Shaken), has signed a multi-book deal with Nelson Books and HarperCollins Resources. The world rights deal includes a trade book, Look Again: Recognize Your Worth. Renew Your Hope. Run with Confidence, releasing in November, and a related devotional for which a date is not yet set. Look Again focuses on learning to see God’s image in every person, per the publisher, and shares details about Tebow’s advocacy for victims of human trafficking and child exploitation. The book was acquired by Andrew Stoddard, VP and publisher of Nelson Books, via the Tebow Group.
Lloyd-Jones Signs New Picture Book with Zonderkidz
Megan Dobson, VP and publisher for Zonderkidz, bought world rights to a new picture book by Sally Lloyd-Jones called Jesus, Our True Friend, releasing in October and illustrated by Jago. The pair’s first collaboration, The Jesus Storybook Bible, has sold over six million copies and been translated into 70 languages to date. The new book, for ages four and up, features seven stories from Jesus’s life, including miracles and parables. Lloyd-Jones is represented by Elizabeth Harding at Curtis Brown, and Jago by Ronnie Herman of the Herman Agency.
Life’s Wilderness Subject of W Title
Acquisitions editor Lisa-Jo Baker of W Publishing has acquired world rights, via Jenni Burke of Illuminate Literary Agency, to two books by Ebie Hepworth, host of the podcast "Let Me Ask You." The first, provisionally titled Hallelujah Anyway, is set for release in fall 2026, and explores biblical truths that offer a fresh perspective on “finding God in life’s wilderness,” per the publisher. A title and date for the second book are forthcoming.
Poetic Prayers and Verse to Amber Lotus
Liz Nealon of Great Dog Literary has negotiated world rights with Melissa Rhodes Zahorsky, acquiring editor for the Amber Lotus imprint of Andrews McMeel, for Grace Flows Through You: 101 Spiritual Verses from Around the World by artist and filmmaker Enid Baxter Ryce. The book is “a collection of original, historical, and poetic prayers and spiritual verses from across time and culture,” according to the publisher. A fall 2026 release is planned.
Brazos Takes Two
Carol Mann of the eponymous agency negotiated for world rights with Katelyn Beaty, editorial director at Brazos Press, to Lauren Winner’s new book, Gathering in the Word. Winner is an associate professor of Christian spirituality at Duke Divinity School and vicar of St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Durham, N.C.; in her new book, she guides readers through the liturgical year via sermons in a small church. A spring 2027 release is planned.
Brazos also picked up North American rights from SPCK for Meeting God in John by David F. Ford. Executive VP for academic publishing James R. Kinney acquired the project, which will release in spring 2026. SPCK—the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge—is a U.K.–based Anglican mission and publishing house founded in 1698. Ford is Regius Professor of Divinity Emeritus at the University of Cambridge.
IVP Signs Middle Grade Novel
Elissa Schauer, executive editor at IVP, took world rights to the tentatively titled middle grade novel If Hurricanes were Flowers by Quina Aragon, unagented. The coming-of-age novel, told in verse, features 11-year-old Lily, a Filipina–Puerto Rican girl living in a multicultural immigrant neighborhood in Central Florida, who must come to terms with her grief at losing her father. The story blends magical realism with a Christian message of God’s care for widows, orphans, and travelers. Aragon has also written three picture books for children (Love Made, Love Gave, Love Can). Release is planned for summer 2026.
Modern Poems to Tyndale
Tyndale House’s acquisitions manager Kara Leonino has taken world rights to an untitled collection of 100 modern poems with accompanying Scripture and meditations by Laura Wifler, the author, podcaster, and cofounder of the for-moms ministry Risen Motherhood. Wifler was represented in the deal by Jenni Burke of Illuminate Literary Agency. A fall 2026 release is planned.
Book and Tarot Deck Sets to Insight
Amanda Nelson, acquiring editor for Insight Editions, an imprint of Mandala Publishing, has acquired world rights to three projects by long-time writers and collaborators Amy Zerner and Monte Farber. Your Cosmic Blueprint teaches how to decode an astrological birth chart to unlock a greater understanding of self and others, per the publisher; the book’s publication is April 2026. The Enchanted Tarot (35th Anniversary Edition) releases in March 2026, and features vibrant artwork in an updated edition of the duo’s bestselling deck. And a new book-and-deck set, The Karmic Balance Tarot, publishing in September 2026, will offer lessons and revelations in dealing with challenging times.
