In another move that reflects publishers’ ongoing interest to tap into the growing religion book market, Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group has announced the launch of a new imprint, Align Insight. The formation of Align comes just about one year after the Penguin Random House Christian division was created.

According to the PRHC announcement, Align Insight “will be a home for Christian authors and experts writing to a broad, general-market readership” on a range of topics. “We are seeing a segment of the market continue to gravitate toward books written by Christians for both Christian and general-market audiences,” said Campbell Wharton, SVP and publisher of PRHC in a statement.

PRHC plans to use current staff members to work on the new imprint. The company expects to acquire eight to 10 titles a year. Acquisitions will be led by a team that includes Madison Trammel, editorial director; Susan Tjaden, VP and executive editor; Kim Von Fange, associate editor; Jamie Lapeyrolerie, editor; and Leslie Calhoun, associate editor.

Align Insight’s first title will be released in December 2026. Richer on Purpose: 7 Surprisingly Simple Steps to Creating Wealth on Your Own Terms is by Vanessa Adekoya, a financial wealth educator and entrepreneur. PRHC described the book as providing “a powerful and proven path for women to create financial freedom and discover greater purpose … with modern economic insights and undergirded by values such as stewardship and calling.”

Titles set for release in 2027 include books by actor Kellan Lutz, best known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the Twilight saga, and his wife Brittany Gonzales Lutz, a former model and actress; Dr. Jay Barnett, former Green Bay Packer turned speaker and mental health therapist; and Dr. Zoe Shaw, a licensed psychotherapist, author, relationship coach, and podcast host.
