Tyndale Takes Multiple Books by Ciuciu

Jenni Burke of Illuminate Literary Agency has negotiated a world-rights, multi-book deal with Tyndale House for Asheritah Ciuciu, speaker, author (Unwrapping the Names of Jesus) and podcast host. The deal includes trade books, Bible studies, a devotional, and a three-book middle grade fiction series. The first trade book, acquired by Sarah Atkinson, is provisionally titled Faith of Our Mothers and is a call to reclaim the sacred influence of womanhood in homes, churches and the world, per the publisher. The first middle grade novel was acquired by Amy Simpson and is not yet titled. Both release in late 2027. Other titles and publication dates are to be determined.

IVP Buys Pair from Jenkins

InterVarsity Press’s associate editor Rachel O’Connor has signed a two-book, world-rights contract with Jessica Lynn Minniear Jenkins via Mary DeMuth of Mary DeMuth Literary. The first book, scheduled to release in spring 2028, is tentatively titled A Woman’s World: How God Champions Women through the Mosaic Law. This book releases in spring 2028, with a second, TBD title in spring 2030. Jenkins is a consultant and educator who teaches the Bible through her podcast “Women of the Bible in Context: Her God, Her Story, Her Voice.”

WaterBrook to Publish Pastor’s Book

Drew Dixon, executive editor at WaterBrook, has acquired world rights to Bobby Jamieson’s The Death You Need. Jamieson (Everything Is Never Enough), senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, N.C., argues that Jesus’s often-neglected command to die to yourself is the paradoxical path to freedom, fulfillment and flourishing, said the publisher. The book is scheduled for spring 2026. Keely Boeving of WordServe Literary negotiated the deal.

Sex Educator’s Book to B&H

Associate publisher Ashley Gorman at B&H Publishing Group took world rights to the tentatively titled Plan A by sexual health educator, speaker and advocate Lori Kuykendall. The book, per the publisher, guides Christian parents—particularly those shaped by tensions between the sexual revolution and the purity movement—in navigating conversations about love, sex and intimacy with their children from toddlerhood through adolescence, with an approach that is scientifically grounded and scripturally sound. The deal was brokered by Emma Fulenwider of WordServe Literary Group. Publication is set for summer 2027.

Ingrum Sells Play-as-Stress-Antidote

Chelcee Johns, executive editor at Storehouse Voices, has acquired the tentatively titled Joy as Rebellion by educator and public theologian Dr. LaKeesha Walrond. The book draws on Christian theology, psychology, personal development science, and the author's experience to reveal the benefits of integrating play as an antidote to the stress, anxiety, and fatigue that accompany the relentless pursuit of productivity, said the publisher. Publication is slated for spring 2028; Adrienne Ingrum at Serendipity Literary Agency negotiated the deal for world rights.

Brazos Offers Help for Wounded Parents

Grace P. Cho, senior acquisitions editor at Brazos Press, took world rights to Camden Morgante’s The Sacred Work of Reparenting. Morgante is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in helping heal toxic beliefs. According to the publisher, her book offers parents tools for developing secure attachments, healthy emotional regulation, and a grounded faith and values system to establish a healthy and whole relationships in their marriage and with their kids. The book is scheduled for summer 2027. Keely Boeving of WordServe Literary negotiated the deal.

Twilight Actor, Wife to Publish with Align

Actor Kellan Lutz—“Emmett Cullen” in the Twilight Saga—and his wife, former model, actress, and podcast host Brittany Gonzales Lutz, with help from agent Esther Fedorkevich at the Fedd Agency, sold world rights to Weathering Together (a provisional title) to Susan Tjaden, VP and executive editor at Align Insights. The book, according to the publisher, offers encouragement and advice to couples for building a resilient, faith-filled marriage despite past struggles. Publication is set for fall 2026.

Quarto Buys Board Book Series

Alli Brydon, publisher of children’s books at Quarto, has acquired world rights to God’s Grace, a board book series introducing babies and toddlers to well-loved Bible stories and verses, by Rachael Hartzell, illustrated by bestselling artist Julia Seal. The first two books, God’s Garden and God’s Creation, will publish in summer 2027; God’s Son and God’s Creatures, will publish in fall 2027. The author was unagented and the illustrator was represented by Kate Johnson at Caroline Wakeman Literary Agency.
