Earlier this month, the UConn Bookstore in Storrs and the University of Connecticut Libraries hosted the 22nd annual Connecticut Children’s Book Fair, which raised money for the Northeast Children’s Literature Collection in the Archives and Special Collections at the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, University of Connecticut Libraries. Twenty-seven authors and illustrators, including Tomie dePaola, Ann M. Martin, Steven Kellogg, Diane deGroat, and UConn alum P.W. Catanese – along with several costumed characters – attended this year’s event, held November 9 and 10. The fair started early on both days, with sold-out breakfasts with Clifford the Big Red Dog. Here, a sampling of photos from the fair.
