ReedPOP has announced its plans for BookCon 2017, the fourth edition of its annual consumer book event, to be held on June 3 and 4 at the Javits Center in New York.

BookCon is returning to New York City after its 2016 sojourn to Chicago along with BookExpo, formerly known as BookExpo America. This year's BookCon will feature such authors as Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code, Origin) and Cassandra Clare (the Mortal Instruments series), among others. Tickets for the show will go on sale on November 16 at noon EST.

"BookCon has evolved into the ultimate storytelling destination and a unique place for fans to get access to their favorite authors, books, films, and television series," BookCon director Brien McDonald said in a statement. "Each year the event generates even greater excitement and engagement and we are looking forward to delivering our biggest show yet in June."

New to BookCon for 2017 will be a designated space highlighting children’s books called Family HQ, which will feature installations and interactive activities. Additional information about exhibitors, guests, and sponsors can be found at TheBookCon.com. Further details about the show will also be released in the coming weeks.
