Feature: Romance Novels

Issue: Nov. 11
Deadline: Sept. 25
This feature will focus on historical romance – how do writers conduct their research, and how do they balance historical accuracy with contemporary values? We’re especially interested in, but not limiting the feature to, forthcoming books set outside the Regency and Victorian eras, and new romances by authors venturing into a particular historical era for the first time. Pub dates: December 2019 through May 2020. New titles only, please; no reprints. Email pitches and links to cover art to features@publishersweekly.com by September 25 and put “Call for Info: Romance Novels” in the subject line.
