Oni Press Calls for Submissions, Pitches
Portland-based independent comics publisher Oni Press plans to begin accepting submissions and pitches from artists, writers, cartoonists and colorists beginning in May. The press is actively soliciting artists to submit work for consideration by the Oni Press editorial team for publication.
Oni Press plans to accept submissions by email. The publisher will release more details on the submission process in May. Once the work is submitted, selected creators will be notified of a followup review. Oni Press is the publisher of such artists as Bryan Lee O’Malley (Scott Pilgrim), Greg Rucka (Queen and Country), Joshua Hale Fialkov and Joe Infurnari (The Bunker) and Hope Larson (Grey Horses).
Oni Press editor in chief James Lucas Jones aid, "We are on the hunt for new stories from new creators, featuring characters that reflect the diversity of the world around us. Oni Press has always valued content and execution, and we are looking for creators and projects that can support our goal to publish excellent, varied, and original work."
