Aziz Ansari Heading to BookCon

Actor and stand-up comedian Aziz Ansari will take the stage in the Special Events Hall May 30 at BookCon, the consumer extension of BookExpo America, to discuss his new book, Modern Romance (Penguin Press, June). 

Known for his role on NBC's Parks & Recreation, Ansari makes his debut with Modern Romance. In the book, he teamed up with Eric Klinenberg, a professor of sociology at NYU, and designed a massive research project, to create, per Penguin, a "hilarious, thoughtful, and in-depth exploration of the pleasures and perils of modern romance." ​

Ansari joins previously announced headliners Julianne Moore, Mindy Kaling, B.J. Novak, Nick Offerman, John Hodgman, Taye Diggs, Rainbow Rowell, Mamrie Hart, Jacqueline Woodson and David Levithan.
