ECPA's 2017 PubU Program Announced

The Evangelical Publishers Association (ECPA) released the 2017 program for its PubU, an annual conference for Christian publishing professionals. The event, which will take place in Nashville from Nov. 7-8, will include a keynote speech by Gabe Lyons, author and founder of Q, a learning community for Christians.

Further, B&H executives Jennifer Lyell and Dave Schroeder will lead PubU's “Brain Trust,” a committee of publishing leaders who are charged with developing over 40 workshops on topics in editorial, marketing/publicity, design, rights, reader engagement, and data/delivery/workflow. Each member will recruit speakers and develop sessions according to their area of expertise. Other Brain Trust members include Jeff James, v-p of marketing for Nelson Books/ HarperCollins Christian Publishing Group, Chriscynethia Floyd, v-p of sales & marketing, learning resources, David C Cook, and Patti Brinks, art director at Baker Books, among others.

PubU will also host a series of workshops for content creators and storytellers on Nov. 8, followed by The Christy Award Christian Fiction evening gala. To register for the event, click here
