Howard Books Undergoes Staff Shakeup

Howard Books, which moved from its headquarters in Nashville, Tenn., to New York City in April, unveiled a number of changes to its staff, including the promotion of senior editor Beth Adams to executive editor. Based in New York, Adams will continue to report to Peter Borland, v-p and editor-in-chief of Atria.

Also, Becky Nesbitt is returning to Howard as editor-at-large after leaving the company as editor in 2015. She will be based in Nashville, and will report to Beth Adams.

Along with the promotions, Howard Books senior editor Philis Boultinghouse is retiring after over 30 years with the publisher.
