Chelsea Green Publishing Expands, Opens London Office
Following a period of growth that has seen U.K. sales rise by 167% since 2015, Vermont-based independent book publisher Chelsea Green Publishing has opened a London office and appointed former Faber marketing director Matt Haslum in a new role as managing director, effective March 2018. The publisher's books are distributed in the U.K. by Publishers Group U.K. Haslum’s focus will be to establish the Chelsea Green brand, titles, and authors in the U.K., with an emphasis on developing relationships with the trade, agents, and readers. He will manage and develop CGP U.K.’s base of operations, including marketing, PR, sales, and editorial. He will also spearhead the digital and marketing strategies to drive both direct-to-consumer and trade sales.
